La cérémonie de passation de service a eu lieu ce mercredi 21 septembre 2022 dans les locaux du ministère des Sports. Matar Ba a cédé sa place à son successeur Yankhoba Diattara.
Le nouveau ministre des Sports, Yankhoba Diattara a félicité son prédécesseur, le ministre Matar Ba « Pour tout ce qu’il a fait pour le sport sénégalais ». C’est ainsi que, dit – il, « Je voudrais lui demander ici d’accepter d’être l’invité d’honneur de la délégation sénégalaise à la Coupe du monde de football Qatar 2022 », a – t – il révélé à l’occasion de la cérémonie de passation de service.
En outre, il souhaite effectuer avec lui son premier déplacement de « prise de contact avec l’équipe nationale de football » à l’occasion du match de préparation qui se tiendra à Orléans le 24 septembre prochain. Au niveau du ministère des Sports, le nouveau patron des sportifs sénégalais a mesuré l’ampleur de la charge et l’impératif de trouver des solutions urgentes par rapport aux préoccupations des acteurs sportifs pour l’atteinte des objectifs déclinés dans le Plan Sénégal Émergent.
« Nous devrons également mettre en œuvre la vision de la politique sportive impulsée par le Président de la République et qui nous a valu beaucoup de succès. Le chantier sera certes vaste, mais tous ensemble, nous pourrons relever les défis qui se dresseront devant nous », lance – t – il. Par ailleurs, pour dérouler un nouveau plan de travail:
« Je puis vous rassurer et vous assurer que je serai le ministre de tous les Sports, je serai le supporter de toutes les disciplines ». dira t-il.
Yankhoba Diattara a annoncé également des réformes dans ce département ministériel. »Des réformes seront apportées, les infrastructures seront renforcées, le consensus sera mon credo ».
