Les faits se sont déroulés à Bakel. M.K, un adolescent de 16 ans, va se rendre dans la chambre d’Aissatou Cissokho, commerçante, pour y dérober la somme de 850 000 frs. Ce montant représente la tontine des femmes de cette commune. Le gamin va par la même occasion emporter le passeport et la carte d’identité de dame Cissokho.
Une fois son forfait commis, le jeunot va se débarrasser des pièces d’identité de la femme et se rendre dans un endroit… de détente. Comme le rapporte « L’Observateur », M.K va prendre la direction d’une maison close gérée par des nigérianes.
De retour chez elle, Aissatou Cissokho constate le vol et se rend chez le boutiquier le plus proche pour mener sa petite enquête. L’épicier lui révèle qu’il a aperçu M.K avec son passeport et sa carte d’identité. Sans se faire prier, A.Cissokho va déposer une plainte à la brigade de gendarmerie.
Devant les enquêteurs, l’adolescent passe aux aveux affirmant qu’il a dépensé la totalité des 850 000 dans cette partie de jambes en l’air. Pour en avoir le cœur net, les policiers vont convoquer les prostituées. Une fois sur place, les demi-mondaines ont confirmé la présence de M.K puis selon elles, il aurait passé du bon temps avec deux d’entre elles moyennant la somme de 10 000 Fcfa chacune.
A la barre du tribunal pour enfant, le prévenu reconnait les faits devant sa mère qui a essayé de le défendre tant bien que mal en affirmant que son fils ne jouit pas de toutes ses facultés mentales. Un argument balayé d’un revers de main par la victime. Le tribunal confié le prévenu à son civilement responsable.
