Pour la Présidente des femmes BBY Seynabou Ndièguène et pour Madame Guèye, adjointe au maire de Pout, cette action de solidarité est complémentaire à l’action du Président Macky Sall.
En guise de solidarité, les femmes BBY de Thiès ont organisé une large distribution de riz et de sucre aux personnes vulnérables
Pour la Présidente des femmes BBY Seynabou Ndièguène et pour Madame Guèye, adjointe au maire de Pout, cette action de solidarité est complémentaire à l’action du Président Macky Sall.
Comme elles le disent, « danou dadioul souf » (littéralement on ne peut pas satisfaire tout le monde) mais, puisque leur mentor est le Président de tous les sénégalais, « choisir d’agir dans le social à la place d’une conférence religieuse permet de soulager ceux qui sont dans le besoin, quelle que soit leur appartenance politique.»
Les 12 communes de Thiès département et les 3 de la ville ont chacune reçu son quota de riz, sucre, et dattes.
« En politique, les femmes sont championnes pour la mobilisation, mais c’est aussi dans l’unité que l’on peut réussir ! »
Selon les récipiendaires comme Aminata Kanouté venue de la commune de Keur Moussa, et pour Ndèye Niang de Thiès commune (quartier Moussanté), le sentiment de satisfaction est unanimement partagé.
« C’est une aide alimentaire qui vient au bon moment, en ce mois de solidarité de prière et de repentir. »
Pour les femmes responsables de BBY, « il faut maintenir le cap de l’unité créée par cette opération, et rester solidaires jusqu’aux prochaines élections législatives. »

Au bilan et à mi-parcours, 40 tonnes de riz et 50 tonnes de sucre ont été distribuées.
