En effet, l’idée du projet pour le renouvellement avait pour objectif d’éliminer les « Cars rapides » et « Ndiaga Ndiaye » qui étaient des moyens de transport qui ont causé beaucoup d’accidents de circulation ces dernières années.
Moussa Guèye, président dudit Collectif qui a, par ailleurs, fait savoir que les accidents sont répétitifs sur les routes au Sénégal. Il a interpellé ses collègues surtout à observer la prudence sur les routes.
Pour rappel, les minicars de 15 places assureront la navette à l’intérieur du pays avec le système de transport interurbain.
