En conférence de presse ce jeudi, le maire de Ziguinchor Ousmane Sonko a confirmé ce que quasiment tout le monde savait: sa candidature pour la présidentielle de 2024.
Le leader du parti Pastef/ les patriotes s’est voulu clair il est candidat mais il ouvre la porte aux autres « J’annonce également que si d’autres membres de Pastef veulent se présenter à la présidentielle, ils en ont le droit car il y a des chartes. S’il y en a, nous ferons donc des primaires pour choisir qui va représenter notre parti. En tout cas, je confirme que je suis candidat en 2024 », assure-t-il.
Le cap est désormais fixé sur la présidentielle de 2024 et à 18 mois de cette échéance « historique», le leader de l’opposition invite les sénégalais à s’engager pour une vraie alternance en 2024.
« Si on rate encore le coche, les 50 prochaines années seront très difficiles. C’est pour cette raison que nous appelons les militants, sympathisants et l’ensemble des Sénégalais à s’engager pour un changement radical(…) s’est-il exprimé.
Dans cette même dynamique, Ousmane Sonko a fait l’annonce d’une tournée nationale en décembre dans tous les 46 départements du Sénégal.
