Lors des obsèques du président de l’assemblée nationale de Côte d’Ivoire Amadou Soumahoro rappelé à Dieu il y a quelques jour , l’assemblée nationale du Sénégal était représenté par son premier vice-président Abdou Mbow. Après avoir assisté à la levée de corp à la mosquée de la riveira, il a remis à Mme Soumahoro, la lettre de condoléances écrit à cet effet par le président Moustapha Niasse.
C’est aujourd’hui en fin de matinée que le président Mbow à été reçu au palais de la République par le vice-président de la République de Côte d’Ivoire qui se trouve être l’ancien gouverneur de la BECEAO . A la tête d’une forte délégation composée de l’ambassadeur du Sénégal en Côte d’Ivoire, du président de commission Papa Sagna Mbaye et du député de la diaspora établi en Côte d’Ivoire Saybatou Aw, le vice-président de l’assemblée nationale Abdou Mbow à transmis les condoléances du Président Moustapha Niasse et de toute l’assemblée nationale du Sénégal à son Excellence Alassane Dramane Ouattara à travers une lettre .
Le vice-président de la République ivoirienne à son tour à remercié Monsieur Mbow ainsi que toute la délégation qui l’accompagne à cet effet. Il lui aussi transmis les salutations et remerciements du président Ouattara.
