Un cumul pluviométrique excédentaire est prévu entre le mois de juin, juillet et août. D’ailleurs, l’Agence nationale de l’aviation civile et de la météorologie (Anacim) alerte sur un risque élevé d’éléments pluviométriques intenses voire extrêmes. C’est ce qui ressort en tout cas des résultats de la prévision saisonnière des précipitations au Sénégal pour l’hivernage 2022 présenté ce vendredi 6 mai.
Il est fort probable que l’hivernage 2022 s’installe beaucoup plus tôt que les saisons précédentes. Une bonne partie du territoire national est concernée par cette prévision de l’Anacim. Le sud-est du pays devrait, lui, connaître un démarrage normal, voire tardif. Et pourtant, entre le 29 avril et le 4 mai derniers, de faibles pluies allant de 02 à 6 mm ont déjà été enregistrées entre Kédougou, Salémata et Fonguelémi. Dans cette même partie, l’Anacim annonce des conditions normales à déficitaires entre mai et juillet dans un communiqué parvenu à la rédaction.
Entre juillet, août et septembre, des mois considérés comme le cœur de la saison des pluies, il est attendu un cumul pluviométrique normal ou excédentaire sur tout le pays sauf entre Koungheul, Vélingara et Simenti .
Ces bonnes précipitations pourraient avoir par contre des conséquences. L’Anacim alerte sur un risque élevé d’évènements pluviométriques intenses voire extrêmes sans pour autant préciser pour le moment de quoi il en découle.
L’impact de ces conditions climatiques font l’objet de travaux de groupe par rapport à des secteurs prioritaires tels que l’agriculture et l’élevage. Il est question autant de proposer des mesures adéquates pour la prise en charge des éventuelles inondations durant cet hivernage 2022. A noter aussi que les risques d’avoir de longues pauses sèches sont faibles non seulement au début mais aussi durant la saison des pluies
