Elections locales à Thiès Nord: Babacar Diouf de And Xekhal Askanwi suspend sa candidature à la mairie de Thies Nord et se rallie à Omar Badiane
C’est lors d’un grand meeting, que Babacar DIOUF, président du mouvement And Xekhal Askan Wi, a officiellement suspendu sa candidature au poste de maire du nord, au profit d’Omar Badiane, prétendant et Président du Parti des Alternatives Sénégalaises qu’il a rallié en grandes pompes.
Ce dernier, très satisfait, s’est félicité de l’avènement de Babacar DIOUF, qu’il considère comme un allié de taille et l’une des figures emblématiques dans le landernau politique à Thiès. Et, en toute connaissance de cause, le président BADIANE l’a présenté comme un homme à la qualité exceptionnelle, œuvrant inlassablement pour le bien-être de sa communauté, par ses actions citoyennes envers les populations et de leur environnement. Le futur rallié a également loué son humilité et sa conviction profonde de la devise de son mouvement « à se battre pour le bien-être de la zone-nord. »
Omar Badiane a salué le ralliement de Babacar DIOUF, déclarant solennellement « que lui et ses militants, sont fiers et confiants de l’avoir à leurs côtés pour les prochaines élections. Il a saisi cette occasion, pour informer militants et alliés, des dispositions conservatoires prises en amont , au niveau des comités électorales.
Pour sa part, Babacar DIOUF a réitéré sa conviction et sa foi dans son compagnonnage avec le BADIANE, président des Alternatives Sénégalaises, pour dit-il, « un changement total de la zone- nord, la région de Thiès et du Sénégal avec l’esprit patriote et citoyen , qu’il toujours incarné. »
