Développer des formations performantes et mettre en adéquation les besoins et les compétences
Dans le cadre de l’actualisation et de l’amélioration de ses maquettes, l’Institut Supérieur d’Ingénierie pour la Formation Professionnelle et Technique (ISIF-PT) de Thiès, a organisé ce samedi 17 octobre 2020 dans ses locaux un important atelier de partage.
Initiée par le Docteur Ibrahima Ba, Responsable pédagogique, cette rencontre s’est déroulée en présence d’éminentes personnalités universitaires dont les professeurs Ousmane Guèye, Elhadji Mounirou Ndiaye, Cheikh Sidy Mohamed Cissé, d’autres chercheurs et professionnels comme l’ingénieur géologue Joseph Demba Diouf, Abdoulàye Fall et Modou Niang.
Il faut s’orienter vers l’économie numérique et les nouveaux métiers
En dehors des filières déjà existantes comme le Génie Pétrolier, Réseaux Télécommunications, QHSE (Qualité, hygiène, sécurité, environnement), Comptabilité Gestion, Transport Logistique etc., de nouvelles filières vont être créées. En effet, selon l’économiste Elhadji Mounirou Ndiaye, il faut s’orienter vers les marchés de l’économie numérique, car de plus en plus « les métiers actuels vont disparaître et céder la place à de nouveaux et il faut dès à présent s’y préparer. »
Cet atelier s’étant déroulé en présence de représentants des professeurs et des étudiants, le Directeur Ibrahima Mbaye s’est dit satisfait et a promis de faire bénéficier tout le monde des conclusions et des réformes envisagées. Pour lui, l’essentiel est de rester sur les objectifs à l’origine de la création de l’institut: « développer des formations performantes et mettre en adéquation les besoins et les compétences. »
Voici sa vision : « Pour la promotion de l’emploi chez les jeunes, nous amenons d’abord nos étudiants à prendre conscience de leurs capacités, pour se prendre en charge et oser entreprendre. C’est pour cela que nous recrutons à partir de la seconde avec LOST (Lycée d’orientation scientifique et technique. Pour nous, il faut se former avant d’entreprendre. »
