Ousmane MBAYE, Directeur administratif et financier de la société Dangote a inauguré au CEM de Thiky, des salles de classes avec 1 bloc administratif, 2 blocs sanitaires pour garçons et filles .C’est réalisations ont été faites dans le cadre de concertation de la société avec les communautés impactées,comme Diass,dans leurs activités. Ces constructions ont fait suite à la pose de la première pierre en 2019.
Un investissement de 27 millions, non compris le matériel…
Toutefois, le processus a été un peu long, du fait de l’ancien entrepreneur, finalement changé. Ces constructions sont donc venues à point nommé, avec l’ouverture de l’école. » Selon Mr MBAYE qui précise : « qu’au delà Dangote a remis à la commune, 200 tables-bancs, des fournitures scolaires et des produits phytosanitaires, pour lutter contre la covid-19. Globalement, les investissements ont tourné autour de 27 millions de Fcfa, non compris le matériel scolaire et sanitaire. Dangote a livré les salles de classes avant l’ouverture des classes. Dangote a voulu faire sien le concept « Ubbi tey, jàng ». » S’est félicité le Directeur administratif et financier de la société.
Mariama DIONE, seconde adjointe au maire , a remercié Dangote et apprécié les réalisations et donations à leurs justes valeurs. Elle a rappelé au passage « ses multiples actions sociales et religieuses octroyées à la mairie au profit des populations. »
